WORK DEPOSIT
PCSC Work Deposit Program for 2024/25 (formally known as the Volunteer Deposit.)
Every PCSC family, with players U9 and older, is expected to complete 15 hours of service on behalf of the Club.
Families not completing their 15 hours by August 31 will continue to have opportunities to volunteer for the Club throughout the remainder of the year
Families are responsible for monitoring their own hours through PlayMetrics.
TOURNAMENT POLICY
All PCSC teams should expect to participate in tournaments throughout the year. The number of tournaments varies based on the age of the team and their level of play. For the most part, tournaments are either local (across the Wasatch Front) or within driving distance of Park City.
In support of PCSC's philosophy that tournament play is an important part of player and team development, an annual tournament calendar has been created for all PCSC teams. The calendar is shared with each team during the spring and discussed at the start of season team meeting in June. The calendar will outline, in most cases, 2 local tournaments and 2 travel or State level tournaments for each team. The intent is to establish an annual tournament cadence which families can plan for.
For events listed on a team's annual tournament calendar, all rostered players are expected to cover their share of tournament fees and coach expenses whether they elect to participate in the tournament or not
(these are an additional expense and not included in annual program fees.)
The 2024/25 Annual Tournament Calendar is available under Programs / Tournament tab.
UNIFORMS
2024/25 is the first of a two-year uniform cycle for Park City Soccer Club. All players will be required to purchased the Adidas game and training kits through our on line distributor Soccer.com.
Due to the national rush to order uniforms during the summer months, kits should be ordered by June 15 to ensure arrival prior to the Park City Extreme Cup Tournament, July 25 - 27, 2024.
Kit details and pricing are available under the Uniform tab.
REFUND POLICY
PCSC is committed to the quality of our soccer program. We require a full year financial commitment from each player in order to insure the financial solvency of each team, even if you select to pay through a payment plan. Your full year financial commitment to the club allows the club to commit to coaches, fields, camps, training etc. If you or your player decides to withdraw from PCSC due to a change of heart or other interests, no refunds will be granted and no fees will be waived.
In case of a long-term injury or medical condition which prohibits play, or a long distance family relocation, a pro-rated refund will be considered upon written request to the Board of Directors. Physician confirmation of the soccer-ending injury or medical condition (for the season or the year) should accompany your request to the Board
There are a few reasons this is happening:
1 - The fees listed on the chart do not include the Utah Youth Soccer Association (UYSA) fees that are required for all players. Depending on the level of play, your UYSA dues will be between $9.25 (for U8 and under) up to $102.25 for Comp Level teams.
2 - If you selected the payment plan option, a $40 payment plan fee will be added to your first installment.
If your fee discrepancy doesn't appear to be due to these situations, please contact the Club Registrar, Katie Koemans at kkoemans@parkcitysoccer.org
PCSC's High School program is a 9-month program, with fees pro-rated accordingly.
In Utah, female players, grades 9 - 12 play High School soccer in the fall, while male players play for PCHS in the Spring.
- PCSC's U15 & older girls' teams train June and most of July, then break August - October, and resume November - May.
- PCSC's U15 & older boys' teams train June through February
Those finding it difficult to cover PCSC's program fees may request an extended, 10-month payment plan. Please contact club registrar Katie Koemans at kkoemans@parkcitysoccer.org
PCSC awards need-based financial aid to qualified participants. Financial aid applications are reviewed and awarded independently of Player Placements; PCSC's coaching staff is unaware of applications when they name teams.
All financial aid awards require some level of contribution from the recipient's family. This is usually nominal payments, ranging from $25 - $90 per month, over 9 months. An upfront registration fee the first month (June), including Utah Youth Soccer's League Fees, will be more.
Financial aid recipients are also expected to complete the family work commitment of 15 hours by August 31. Those not completing their hours will incur a $500 Work Deposit beginning September 1, which can be distribted across their payment plan.
Most recipients are provide all or partial uniform assistance, along with assistance for travel tournaments.
